Kdixie is a Central Louisiana legend. During the 50's and 60's Kdixie was the first station to play the likes of "Elvis", "Chuck Berry", "Fats Domino" and other founders of Rock & Roll! Kdixie was boycotted by church groups for playing that "Dirty" Rock And Roll. Time has left music on "AM" radio behind. Kdixie is no longer on the radio. KDBS is now ESPN 1410. However, The "Greatest Hits Of All Time" live on thanks to the internet. We broadcast from studios, only a few miles from the original home of Kdixie, as a non-commercial "Labor Of Love" Enjoy the Music! Remember, Rock & Roll Never Dies!
